McFaul was the ambassador, another person named in the RT report on this was https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_J._Kramer - Republican (well, jobs make him look neocon) working in the State Dept in Russia-related jobs July 2005-Jan 2009.

Plus the Ziff brothers - 3 brothers who invest the money they inherited from their dad's Ziff-Davis publishing company. Who have also been accused by the Russian government, though I can't see a simple Russian connection for them.
