In reply to the discussion: Cuba promotes homeopathy as effective 'weapon' against the coronavirus [View all]SheltieLover
(57,073 posts)Pharma squelched neurotherapy too, decades ago. Talk about nonsense! Neurotherapy is brain training, sort of like Dyno tuning your brain waves. Lol
Pharma said it must be a "hippie" thing because people felt so darned good after sessions. Why wouldn't one feel superb when brain is functioning at its very best?
My first comment after a session was, "Holy hell, doc, why would anyone ever do drugs to feel good when they could have a session?" 🤣👍 The answer is because people don't know about it, generally, thanks to pharma.
And there is plenty of objective medical research reflecting robust results from neurotherapy for many maladies, many of which ... wait for it ... are either treated with expensive & often harmful, toxic chemicals via pharma to "manage symptoms" or are corrected through brain wave training.
Follow the $$$$. Always.
I would never wish this upon anyone but, perhaps, until a person goes through a medical life-threatening crisis with a loved one which is exacerbated by drugs, or for which drugs are completely ineffective (while literally destroying organs), one might not be compelled with a desire to research outside the proverbial box or to develop an appreciative awareness that in most cases Mother Nature has already provided what we need to attain and maintain homeostasis. In fact, most drugs are made from plants - herbs & such. lol
As for those who so vehemently attack homeopathy and anecdotal, qualitative resesrch - yes, there is such a thing! - I challenge you to go to a health food store & spend about $10 for a bottle of spray on arnica.
The next time you smash your thumb with a hammer, try your normal pharma drugs first. Then, when the throbbing returns or becomes too intense, spritz your thumb with arnica spray a couple of times, then let's have a chitty chat about whether homeopathy is "woo woo" stuff. Oh, and you quite likely might be surprised to find that your fingernail doesn't turn black & fall off, as has been the case for me & several friends. It's good stuff. You do yourself a disservive by limiting your thinking, imho.
PS- Never use arnica on cuts or broken skin. 👍
