Whatever role vaccine hesitancy is playing — and it's not nothing — supply is still the dominant factor. You can't give out 30,000 doses per day if you don't have 30,000 doses to give.

Giving out 20,000 to 25,000 first doses per day means we're on track to vaccinated most Minnesota adults by mid-June now, back from mid-May at the height of our vaccine surge in April.


The supply from J&J has greatly declined -- no surprise there (the shutdown of the Baltimore factory has been a big hit). The supply from Pfizer and Moderna have both declined a small amount recently -- not good.
