I think with the extremists in the SCOTUS, you're going to see a dramatic shift in living conditions in red states.

The door has been opened for all sorts of Taliban like laws to go into effect in Red States. They're already legalizing discrimination against LGTBQ citizens. You're going to see all sorts of extreme laws, some we can't even imagine. They are trying to outlawing pornography in some of these places. Alcohol will be in their sights too. It's time we take the Far Right at their word. They actually want to live in societies where women aren't allowed to work or go to school. You're going to see laws passed forcing modest dress for women in some states.

And mark my words, they're going to eventually do everything they can do to stop their citizens from leaving those states. They're already kicking around options for preventing pregnant women from crossing state lines. Eventually there will be states women and their children are escaping from under the cover of night like the Handmaid's Tale. You're going to see a dramatic increase in state power in these states in the form of police forces that have more funding and more sweeping powers to enforce the government's version of morality on the citizens. Take them at their word, they want to live in a society closer to Iran than to California.
