The abortion issue highlights the brazen disrespect and contempt the Republican party has for the majority of the American people.

The central theme of this election should be how little regard the Republican Party has for regular people.

Every one of their policies, such as tax cuts for the rich, overturning election results, voting against child tax credits, against student loan forgiveness, against negotiated drug prices, against infrastructure spending, against alternative energy solutions, against labor unions, against public education, against the environment, against healthcare reform, against voting rights, against police reform, are all part of a whole.

The whole is disenfranchising common folk so the wealthy and powerful can have even more wealth and power.

The abortion issue is central to that whole.

Republicans have cast their lot with radical policies that hurt real people, flesh and blood Americans.

The only reason they have for using the government to hammer people is to protect the status quo from the slightest responsibility to our nation and its people.
