When we deny good education and jobs paying enough to live, we contribute to poverty. Many people are homeless because they lack the job skills to earn enough to pay rent. Poor and poorly educated children often see no future for themselves and turn to crime from hopelessness. Some do manage to find a way out of their poverty, but we as a society can do better.
