It is a real page turner. First of all, Wolkoff is an experienced event planner with a long resume of organizing highly visible events. She was more than qualified to plan an inauguration. What she wasn’t qualified to do was deal with a rogues gallery of seedy and unscrupulous people.

Nor was she prepared to deal with a backstabbing and selfish friend named Melania who cares about only herself and her needs.

Melania may at one time been a nice person, but she has been corrupted by the family she married into. She is 100% Trump. She comes off badly in this book, as a selfish woman who never gives and only takes.

Wolkoff clearly had loved Melania and cherished that friendship. But Wolkoff ended up like everyone else in Trump world, she was only useful for as long as she was.
