Several former top executives at online firms like Facebook, Twitter, scared me to death. They say that without any human decision algorithms at those firms have “learned” to maximize profits by creating belief in conspiracies. On their own artificial intelligence driven algorithms learned that belief in conspiracies increases profits. So they feed us information they have learned will increase our belief that the earth is flat, that Hillary has sex with children and then eats them, deep state, etc. There executives, high level executives, believe that process can lead to civil war, literally. Social Dilemma, in my opinion. If Facebook controls 109% of the information you see then it has a good chance of persuading you something absolutely insane. Watch it.
