... I'd suggest you might want to reread it.

I agree that it seems a reasonable assumption that black children might not be amber alerted as much as white kids for some combination of reasons. Two of them might be:

1. Race
2. The fact that there are 6 - 7 times as many white kids as black.

The article doesn't address proving the assertion implicit in the title.

Somewhere I am sure there is a study where statistics show that reported Amber Alerts are issued in unbalanced manner. I couldn't find it, but it must exist.
