4. We're a long way off but I'm hopeful that someday a person's religion will not enter into politics.

We've seen it demonstrated again and again in every denomination that professing any particular religious belief is no indication of moral character.
Every religion has its sheep and every religion has its share of shepherds who have no desire to lead their flocks into green pastures but, rather, coerce them into troubled rocky places for their own selfish gratification.

The sooner America gets over its need to embrace the dictates of hypocrites and recognize candidates who truly walk the higher moral ground, regardless of religious beliefs, the better.
