Ford helped Hitler with modernizing German assembly lines to increase production... From what Ive read Lindbergh became a big flag waver once the war started. He even helped increase the range of the P-38 fighter and supposedly shot down a Japanese plane while "observing" an aircraft patrol.. He got his hand slapped and never flew during the war again... Not because of the problem of him getting shot down but the generals would have a public relations nightmare explaining why a civilian was in a fighter in a dangerous situation...
