Liberals, by their very nature don't go seeking voices of authority or outside confirmation of their beliefs . While conservatives can't function without it.

A liberal thinks to themselves "I believe… [drop down menu here]" and goes about their life. A conservative typically subscribes to a pretty rigid set of beliefs and seeks out confirmation that they're valid from an authoritative voice. It doesn't mater if it is religion, politics or business. This is the void talk radio fills.

That isn't to say the left doesn't have those who aspire to be that authoritative voice, but their pretty much talking to themselves and a few people on YouTube.
