Barring a few updates to accessorization.

But 'fashion' shows almost always seem to me to be showing clothes that will never be worn by the general public.

What people wear is pretty much always dictated by function. Does it keep you warm, cool, block sunlight? Is it easy to take care of, is it safe around machinery or fires? Is it 'subdued' if you're going to funerals or other 'formal' occasions? Does it 'show off' my best features, if I'm wanting to be looked at, or is it nondescript if I'm trying to avoid notice? Or does it fit 'the fad', is it worn by my favorite character in a book or movie?
