6. Dire Warning from a Close Friend

I happen to be close friends with the narrator of this documentary. He is John Englander, the author of "High Tide on Main Street". I highly recommend his book and his webpage . JohnEnglander.net

It is a mixed blessing being close to an expert on this subject. I always feel better informed than the general population but man it can be a downer. He scares the hell out of me.

I am also in the engineering business designing drainage. I have done some work in Miami Beach where much of this story takes place. I commend them for getting ahead of the curve and trying to think ahead. But they are fighting a losing battle.

We can't even begin to address these issues until we can get the lion's share of the population on the same page that it actually is happening. Efforts like this are important to get people to see the evidence that is right in front of them.
