I've said this, too, since the campaign. He's not a liar in the sense that he knows the truth of something and then deliberately tells a falsehood; rather, he just says bullshit that he thinks will make him look smart or ingratiate himself with his audience in any given moment. He's only interested in burnishing the Trump brand and couldn't give two fucks about what's true or not.
