I visit all kinds of factories in SW Ohio and see miserable faces everywhere. Those companies also suffer from repeated quality problems. Basic unhappiness is detrimental to many things, not just education.

It's not too surprising when more power is given to psychopaths whose main goal is to crush others for their own gain.
