Trump has his enablers and accomplices in the Republican Senate. Back in the day, when it became clear that Nixon was involved in the criminal break in and the cover up of Watergate, sensible Republicans abandoned Nixon, who was now clearly a criminal.

Now with Trump clearly engaging in criminal Abuse of Power, the Republicans are complicit in the cover-up and are now accomplices in his crimes.

We need more that just Mitt Romney to stand up and show that some Republicans have spines and some moral decency. What they have proven is that they are cowards and happy to protect a criminal in the White House. History will not treat their cowardice with respect.
