1. I LOVED Gerry Anderson's creations, too!

The only Gerry Anderson creation we had on TV when I was growing up was UFO. (Also starring Ed Bishop, who was conspicuously made up to look like Captain Blue, with the nylon blond hair and everything.) But I remember my best friend and I lining up at the local movie theatre every Saturday morning to see the latest Thunderbirds movie. Admission: 25 cents.

I tell you, it sure gave me a shock to have been raised on Thunderbirds and Captain Scarlet as a kid...and then see TEAM AMERICA: WORLD POLICE as an adult! Haha!

(Also, it was interesting to see the evolution of Gerry Anderson's puppet heads. The puppets were always roughly the same height, but the heads got progressively smaller, and more proportional. Starting out with the huge heads the puppets had in Fireball XL-5, and finishing off with the properly proportioned heads in Captain Scarlet.)
