7. Just a little background on the original song here...

In The Wizard of Oz, there was a dance number called "The Jitterbug," which was inspired by the dance craze sweeping the nation when the movie was made. The idea in the movie was that the Wicked Witch had infected Dorothy and friends with a "dance bug" that would exhaust them and make them easier to capture. The dance number was cut from the movie on the grounds that it was making an already long movie too long and throwing off the pace. Only a few seconds of the scene's original footage still exists.

I'm amazed that Randy Rainbow knew of the song and thought to use it for a parody.
