3. We either get positive things done or we lose in 2022 and beyond. It's that simple.

If 70+ million could vote for Trump and the Repubs could hold onto most Senate seats and gain seats in the House with their behavior and tactics the last 4 years, Dems won't have a chance to better the majorities in the Congress in 2022 unless we get good stuff done and make sure people see how that is helping them in the here and now. And action needs to be prioritized in just that way. Climate change and other things are not AS important as addressing Covid and the economy. Putting everything on the table and giving everything equal voice may assuage the Dem base, but we have them in 2022 anyway. We need to change hearts and minds of the folks that voted Trump and his ilk down ballot, or we lose in 2022 and quite possibly 2024 as well.

If that takes eliminating the filibuster, ramming legislation down Repubs throats when they don't come to the table with acceptable ideas, and calling them liars and obstacles when that is clearly the case, so be it. There can be no half measures and there can be no waiting around while the Repubs dissemble and dither. Time is of the essence.
