FDA oversight is paid for by our tax dollars. This has nothing to do with drug company pricing.
I had an infection while traveling in Spain. My Dr. visit and tests cost $40 and the antibiotics for 10 days cost .89. And that was the charge for being outside their public health system. Somebody is making a killing with these drug prices.
