Both this "New Bridge" and the old Memphis-Arkansas bridge on I-55 still give me nightmares. I remember when the Hernando-deSoto Bridge opened. I can't believe it is 50 years old! OMG. I wonder how long the crack has been there? Yikes, yikes, yikes. Plus, since the old bridge is now reserved for cyclists only, how in the world are Memphians getting to West Memphis, Arkansas?
