2. When I delivered a baby early (all turned out fine)-

I gave my very expensive labor-stopping meds to my doctor, who indicated (probably couldn't say out loud) that she would pass them on to another pregnant lady in need of them.

Because she was my doctor and had prescribed them, she knew the meds were what they were supposed to be.
Doctors always used to give "samples" to patients-- I don't know if it's allowed. But that's why I'd suggest talking to your cardio doctor or primary doctor about this.
