7. I try to avoid using it, especially with someone I am dating.

About the only time I ever use it is for a work related text like: Did everyone get the update? To which if I did then I do the thumbs up. But if someone goes into a lot of detail or is joking around having fun and I agree with them, I can't just do the thumbs up as it feels rude and like I put in no effort when they put a lot of effort in. I have to give an actual opinion / comment.
