Are the Ally Sheedy and Molly Ringwald characters harassed? It wouldn't surprise me. I remember some bullying in the film. Your post makes me want to see it again (although I didn't like it as much as St. Elmo's Fire).

ON EDIT: Or is there some harassment of the male characters by other male characters? (i.e. questioning their sexuality). Sorry, I'm interested in what you're saying but it's been ages since I've seen it.
