which puts the noun first, as in "pendejo estupido."

Pendejo can be used as "stupid" but I would not recommend using it that way because it is more equivalent to the word "a-hole" in English. In Spanish, it is a vulgar pejorative word that comes from the word for pubic hair.

Cabron estupido has many meanings, depending on context and the country where it is used. It literally translates into "big goat" -- a large, mean-looking one. Among the most common slang meanings is "bastard."

BTW, although estupido sounds like Spanglish, it is a real Spanish word.
