(16,377 posts)43. My grandmother's biscuits.
She made them every day for at least 70 years and there was nothing else like them. Only three ingredients but no one else could do it like her. My sister and I would watch her like a hawk, every move, while she was making them trying to learn how. Of course, she never measured anything. She's been dead for over 30 years now. My sister has come the closest but they're still now quite the same. If there is a heaven, my grandmother's biscuits will be waiting for me.
