Or maybe you can change fields? I always worked in office jobs in the financial industry and in 2013 after my boss died and another temp job I worked at I got laid off with a nice severance. I took a job as a move/ packing person who pack up seniors and then unpack them on the other side. It is so rewarding from the office work and I reactivated my teaching credential and became a substitute teacher. I love working with the young and old.
Remember the old adage when one door closes another one opens! Good luck!
