One good start is what you are doing right now. The internet is very useful at getting the word out. Check google for no kill shelters and go to Facebook. You would be surprised how many animal rescue groups are on there that has ways to help.

Oh and use your FB pales too! Ask them to share so friend they have can pass the word too.
