Such a drag to have them ripped off! I love the Gibson tone, but just never made the plunge to get a real one. The Epi kind of fell in my lap. My fingers are a bit short for more than four strings. I have a Squire PBass 5 string that I picked up to have the low B, but rarely use it because of the neck width. Should really try to find something that I can comfortably play because that low B definitely comes in handy!
Main performing instruments are an American Precision Deluxe and a Modified Mexican Jazz (started life as a fretless, replaced the neck with a Mity Mite fretted neck and a Hipshot bridge).
