down there in Fullerton and what a treat it could be especially when mom bought us those crumb donuts too! We'd hear him approach because he'd honk twice after each stop. I remember two years in a row my mom ordered my birthday cake from the Helms man (he was really nice, an older man, I recall him now!) and it would arrive on my birthday, fresh and with a toy race car on the top!

Seems like a lot people remember them...
