5. A couple of thoughts...

Full disclosure: I am a Boomer though close to the end of that generation.

They sure all fell into place and started flinging barbs as soon as Jeff defined the season as a competition between generations. As a Boomer, that example of lockstep conformity was a yuck. Too much social media or something else?

When did Generation X become the generation that was used to hard work? That's not how I remember it. Maybe they just mean relative to millennials. But I have a couple of millennial intern working for me and can't complain about the work ethic I'm getting. So I guess maybe we need to recognize a stereotype for what it is.

I don't have the names down yet - you know, being old and demented . But I want to say something about that guy on the Millennial tribe that started the fire. Instant hero to his tribe with that. Yet he said (I think it was him) he never thought of himself as a millennial and thought he was too old to be with them. If he can keep that lock with his current tribe, he will be able to identify with the folks on the other tribe after the merge. He could be uniquely positioned to win if he can forge solid relationships with both groups. I think I'm going to try and pick him for my Survivor pool.
