I was at a Kinks concert in Providence with Bad Company opening. Someone in the front row kept yelling for the Kinks, and when the set was over the bass player jumped down and tried to home run the yeller's head with the bass. Got him hard enough I heard the thump about 15 rows back, October of '72.

Saw Poco w/ Jim Croce opening, and Mothers of Invention at the same theater earlier that year. Great place to hear a band.
