Emptiness adds to the atmosphere that is evoked through these photos.

It is kind of like when I viewed Ellis Island. Eerie without people, though in this case it’s like we know these features on the boat are just waiting for the addition of people to become alive.

Ellis island was sensing the people who had come through—their hopes and fears. The ship entertainment features are like bubble gum waiting to be popped.
