We were there a week, and had generally good weather (with a couple of days of rain thrown in).

EDIT to add: It must have been a moving experience to be there in solitude. There were a lot of people out when we were there. The Lincoln memorial was so packed that it was difficult to absorb the gravity of it all; although, the place was full of a lot of good vibes from the people enjoying themselves, and that added a nice twist to things (plus, the weather that day was gorgeous, temps in the low 80's. I think it was Washington DC's first really nice day of the year).

I'm planning a trip back before school lets out. I wanted to drive out to Antietam, but the day I had scheduled for it was pouring down rain.
