5. Nice. I remember it was about 7 or so years ago...

when it dawned on me after chatting w a good friend who had also gotten a pretty good digital camera (I was raised on film) that I hadn't tried my new 12x on the moon. I'd worked my way up on digital cameras from 4x, then 8x, and now I had the 12x.

Now I can't remember (and don't know where those SD cards are whether it was the 12x optical alone, or adding the ditigal boost to ?30x or so but wow!!!
Suddenly I was seeing craters, and craters's shadows, and the darker "seas", and that amazing crater with the
lighter color debris "splash" radiating out in all directions....
without a telescope! Just a plain ole camera!!! 😄
Still amazing!

And that "gibbonous" shape is the "weird" one for me.
Don't know why.
And look at that upper curve where the shadow is how the littler craters stand out in almost 3D.
