This happened in my family. One relative had two distinct families. Each did not know about the other until the end.. Some wanted to see the others "pedigree" and or proof of relations..
I was told it was a very strange "reunion" as everybody involved LOOKED related.. HA!
Would have loved to be a fly on the wall at party...
