There was a candidate debate in the race for Colorado treasurer, and Brian Watson (R) accused Dave Young (D) of being "just a teacher" (nevermind his post-teaching years in the legislature, including work on the budget committee). Anyway, the remark was beyond offensive, to ALL teachers. So I put together this little "ballot". I'm going to print up some copies and stick them in my car windows. For the record, I know Dave. I was pleased to work on his campaigns for the state legislature, where his work has been so good that his re-election campaign drew workers from adjacent districts. For those who have not yet met him, he is more than well-qualified, and he welcomes conversation and interaction.
