March goes into weather history books as warmest ever in Michigan

Massachusetts, NH, VT, Maine, NY.

The only ones I spent any time in this winter. 80+ degrees in Boston more than once in March, just ridiculous.

Snow on NH and VT and Maine ski slopes melting away in March, and nights above freezing, no snow machines can make snow there if the 24 hour temps stay above 32 F. People laid off from ski areas, no snow, no jobs. This was March, in states that boast of the latest April skiing in New England, shut down in March.

Several groups of skiers from colleges around Boston who usually go to NH, or VT, or Maine, traveled all the way to Quebec to ski on spring breat, not enough snow below the borders on slopes in those states.
