my heart still lives in The D. I'm overjoyed to be working a contract job in a sweet new adaptive re-use office in a groovy old warehouse on Fort. St. downtown; I've always hated commuting to Oakland County.

Congratulations on your choice of Broderick Tower, that is wonderful news. If you need groceries, Whole Foods has opened a new branch in Midtown:

Yes, I know Whole Foods' owner is an egregious Bu$h supporter, but if they're willing to locate in The D I'm willing to forgive a bit.

As for restaurants, there is a huge selection for night life and dining, many of them very soulful little holes-in-the-wall that you will enjoy discovering. My favorite restaurant in the world is still Xocimilco in Mex Town, but that's a bit out of your way if you're downtown. Enjoy your discovery, I'm really jealous.

Thanks for helping our city thrive. I look forward to moving back, I really miss it. Ann Arbor is a nice place, but it ain't mine.

Go Lions!!
