No gators. About the closest they get are the Santee Cooper lakes.
One exception is the Savannah River Site in Aiken across the state line from Augusta. That is because the warm/hot water coming out of the reactors there keeps the water warm year round. Gators generally can’t tolerate water that gets near freezing.
