22. Any chance of setting up a solar system in your situation?
Sat Jul 9, 2022, 05:01 PM
Jul 2022

We're up in WA about 20 miles from the border. Run our farm, complete with three 22 cu ft chest freezers on 6400 watts of panels, 10k watts of inverter, and a couple of repurposed Nissan Leaf battery packs. Set us back about $20k but being off the grid has been a great experience.

If you're interested in the specifics (assuming that TX won't lock you up for such subversive, socialistic, commie type behavior) let me know, happy to share.

I hear ya - it is getting worse by the month. Hope you get power back quickly. walkingman Jul 2022 #1
