You're right, of course: even all these years later, right-wing media in Argentina is still very much downplaying the tragedy - with some guests and commentators even suggesting it was no tragedy at all; but rather, the disposal of people "who had it coming to them."

(to say nothing of the socio-economic tragedy - which afflicts Argentina to this day)
