16. I am going to celebrate on Sunday with a son I didn't spawn.

I met him when he was 3.5. I became his dad when he was 6. His mother and I divorced. Turns out, he was the only thing that worked in the marriage. He's 20 years old now. He finally did meet his natural father. I'm the one he'll be having food with on Sunday.

Being a dad is way more important than being a father. Being both is simply a luxury to some.
