POTUS is a very exclusive club and new presidents have often turned to their more experienced predecessors, regardless of party. LBJ turned to Eisenhower as an advisor, Jimmy Carter only had Nixon and Ford, and Carter accepted help from his former opponent for dealing with Congress, George HW Bush used the resources of the Carter Center. This resentful ignorant sorehead isn't going to stop until we have nothing left!
