Pull out one factor and the whole chain collapses.
The answer is a reassessment of our food supply. Localize! More small businesses working directly with consumers. Less corporate control of processing that injects chemicals from the feed seed to the final product. Diversity of food supply guarantees more nutritious and not more marketable food stuffs.
