I think the IDF investigating itself is like the United States Military brass investigation sexual assault by brass upon women troops. It is highly suspicious. If they really want the truth out they should be a commission made of of Jordanian and Israelis to investigate especially since the incident seems to be on Jordanian territory.

Israel expressed regret on Tuesday over the fatal shooting of a Jordanian-Palestinian judge by IDF troops at a West Bank border crossing, a statement from the premier’s office said.
