There's nothing in it that DUers don't know in general, but he put a lot of effort into finding and linking to specific examples of right-wing craziness.

Based on that essay, he's in a kind of in-between state. He's identified some of the craziness among his ideological allies: the name-calling, the double standards, the hysteria, etc. Nevertheless, even while he denounces that, he remains their ideological ally. For example, in that very piece he gets all agitated about deficit spending.

I have to believe, though, that Glenn Beck is nowhere close to even that level of disengaging from the nutty side.
