I take a handful of pills and use my inhaler twice a day. [View all]

If I don't I'm screwed.

I *WILL* end up in the Emergency Room, or sitting in the back seat of a police car on my way to the Emergency Room. I've known this for more than half my life now and I've avoided the ER for immune system and mental health issues since the early 'eighties.

But I do wonder sometimes what it must be like to be "normal," to live a life without meds.



Best I can say for the asthma is that it taught me to take my meds. Not breathing, at least for me, has always been worse than the other stuff.
