... solving the problem of our insane amount of gun violence with more guns makes as much sense as telling a smoker with lung cancer to smoke some more and hope for the lung cancer itself to develop cancer of its own and die.
Which one of these statements is true?
A) No one has ever successfully defended himself/herself with a gun.
B) Cancers aren't attacked by other cancers.
Take a wild guess. You've got a 50/50 chance of getting it right.
